Background of the Study
Strategic alliances involve partnerships between organizations to achieve shared goals, leverage resources, and access new markets. For small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), strategic alliances can drive growth by providing access to capital, expertise, and technology (Okonkwo & Yusuf, 2024).
In Katsina State, SMEs face challenges such as limited resources, poor market access, and intense competition. Strategic alliances offer a pathway for overcoming these challenges and achieving sustainable growth. However, the effectiveness of such alliances depends on factors such as partner compatibility, shared objectives, and effective communication (Ali & Musa, 2023).
This study explores the impact of strategic alliances on SME growth in Katsina State, focusing on the experiences of local entrepreneurs.
